What Is a Perpetual Plaque?

A perpetual plaque is a reusable recognition award designed to honor multiple recipients over a period of years. Unlike an individual award plaque, a perpetual plaque typically includes a larger engraved header plate identifying the award, organization or recognition program along with multiple smaller engraved plates for individual names, dates, accomplishments or titles. Because new name plates can be added as additional recipients are selected, custom perpetual plaques are an excellent choice for ongoing recognition programs. They provide a permanent record of achievement while allowing the same award display to remain in use year after year.

Popular Uses for Perpetual Recognition Plaques

Our engraved perpetual plaques can be customized for businesses, schools, nonprofit organizations, clubs, associations, churches, sports organizations and community groups. Popular applications include:

• Employee of the Month plaques
• Employee and workplace recognition awards
• Student of the Month and academic recognition
• Donor and sponsor recognition plaques
• Volunteer recognition programs
• Salesperson or Sales Representative of the Month awards
• Annual championship and tournament awards
• Board member and officer recognition
• Memorial and honorary recognition displays
• Club, association and membership awards

Choose the Right Size and Number of Name Plates

Perpetual award plaques are available in a wide variety of sizes and capacities. Smaller 12-, 18- and 24-plate plaques are ideal for monthly recognition programs or organizations with a limited number of annual recipients. Larger multi-plate perpetual plaques with 36, 45, 60, 72, 84 or more plates provide room for years of future recipients and are especially useful for schools, corporations, donor programs and long-running annual awards. Styles include traditional genuine walnut plaques as well as black, ebony and rosewood piano-finish designs. Select models also incorporate a photograph or other visual element, making it easy to create a recognition display that complements your organization, office, school or facility.

Custom Engraving and Logo Personalization

Personalize your perpetual recognition plaque with your organization's name, award title, custom wording and logo. Header plate engraving is included on our perpetual plaques, and acceptable company or organization artwork can be incorporated into the design with no additional logo setup charge. As new recipients are selected, additional engraved plates can be ordered for your existing plaque. This makes a perpetual award plaque an attractive and practical long-term recognition solution rather than an award that needs to be replaced each year.
